Papua New Guinea

Bright. Complex. Exceptionally Rare.

Some coffees are simply enjoyable. Others leave a lasting impression. Our Papua New Guinea Single Origin belongs in the second category.

Sourced from the remote mountains of Ulya in the Jiwaka Province, this remarkable coffee is grown between 1,500 and 1,700 meters above sea level, where cool mountain temperatures, rich volcanic soil, and generations of family farming produce a cup unlike any other.

Unlike many large coffee-producing regions, most farms in Papua New Guinea consist of only a few acres. Families cultivate, harvest, and carefully sort their coffee by hand, relying on traditional farming practices and naturally available organic inputs. The rugged landscape makes transportation and processing incredibly challenging, making Papua New Guinea one of the world's most underexplored coffee origins.

Through the efforts of Monpi Coffee Exporters, more than 1,000 smallholder farmers now have access to centralized processing facilities, improved storage, and better logistics. These investments help preserve the incredible quality of Papua New Guinea coffee while supporting the farming communities that make it possible.

The result is an extraordinary coffee that showcases the true character of one of the world's hidden coffee treasures.
